Morels and black trumpets can be rehydrated and then sauteed as you would fresh mushrooms, chanterelles and porcini are more suitable as a flavoring for sauces and soups. Fresh to dry weight ratio is 10:1, the flavor of dried wild mushrooms is very intense.
